The Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority Health Institutions and Professionals Supervision Directorate announced that it has provided training to selected hospitals and centers that are lower risk to enable health institutions to self-regulate in accordance with the guidelines prepared by the Ministry of Health.
During the training, the authority’s health institutions and professional supervision experts provided detailed training on the nature and importance of standards, types, the importance of self-regulation, expected results from institutions, implementation methods and processes, principles, monitoring and evaluation, role and responsibilities, and reporting and management.
The trainees also attended the training well and discussed in groups about (Scoring) management practices and the topics presented in the training.
