Addis Ababa: February 2, 2026 (Tir 25, 2018 E.C.)
The Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority (AAFDA) held its weekly "Golden Monday" program today, focusing on the necessity of diverse professional skills in the face of current global realities. The program, which serves as a platform for experience sharing and staff motivation, brought together leaders and employees to kickstart the work week with renewed focus.
During the session, Mr. Fisseha Aberra, Deputy Director General of the Administrative Sector, emphasized that the current global landscape is evolving rapidly. He noted that relying on a single skill set is no longer sufficient. He urged staff members to equip themselves with versatile skills in both technology and various fields of knowledge. "Understanding global trends and becoming multi-skilled is essential for both personal growth and professional excellence," he stated. The session concluded with practical advice on how employees can adapt to these changes to better serve the public.
