The Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority, under the motto "Volunteering for a Healthy Society", has implemented a free medical service and meal sharing program for 5000 indigent people living in the Macedonian Charity Resource Center, in coordination with private hospitals.
When launching the program, the Authority’s General Manager, Mrs. Mulu Imebet Tadesse, noted that the Authority is carrying out many people-oriented activities in terms of protecting the health of the community and fulfilling its social responsibility. She stated that the Authority is making its contribution by coordinating with 4 private hospitals involved in this activity and providing free medical services and food distribution to 5,000 indigent people at the Macedonia Resource Center.
Mrs. Mulu Imebet added that change can be brought about through cooperation and support, and pointed out that the Macedonia Resource Center is an example of the culture of cooperation, and thanked the health institutions that supported this good deed as well as the leaders and experts who coordinated to make the program a success.
Finally, the Authority and the heads and health professionals of the hospitals that supported them visited the entities supported by the Macedonian Charity Center in various departments.
