A joint discussion was held on the establishment of the Workers' Relief Association (Social) service to strengthen the unity and solidarity of the institution's employees on Golden Monday.

Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority holds a Golden Day every Monday, which is one of the platforms where employees exchange experiences, get motivated to work, increase communication within the institution, and create opportunities for improvement in the services provided.
Therefore, at the forum held on that day, detailed proposals were presented by Ato Mola Tadele, a member of the Social Committee, regarding the regulations of the Workers' Relief Association established to strengthen the unity of the employees in the institution, the rights and obligations of members, the services provided by the Social Committee, and the main activities to be carried out in the future.

Based on the proposal, the employees of the institution provided their opinions and suggestions. Although the services provided by the Workers' Relief Association are good, there are problems with the consumer and cafe services, and they should be corrected. They also provided their opinions and suggestions that the association should be strengthened by increasing the monthly allowance and finding other additional sources of income.
Finally, the committee members provided an explanation.
They stated that the association has been providing various services to benefit the employees and that they will continue to strengthen and strengthen the workers' union by taking the opinions given as input and implementing the plans they have planned to show further improvements.
