The Authority provided training to enhance the awareness and capacity of employees in understanding and preventing the vulnerability of women and children to HIV/AIDS and its link to gender-based violence. 

There was a wide awareness about the social, economic and sexual conditions that can make women and children vulnerable to HIV/AIDS and the health and social impacts of gender-based violence, as well as the responsibilities that families, institutions and communities should take in preventing vulnerability.

The awareness-raising activity indicated that the Authority, in addition to enhancing the health awareness and social responsibility of employees, will also enhance their capacity to understand and assist in appropriate ways in health and violence issues affecting women and children in the workplace.

It was also stated that creating a healthy, safe, inclusive and violence-free work environment will help ensure the safety and security of employees and improve the performance of the institution. The authority stated that it will continue to strengthen its work to protect women and children from violence and reduce HIV exposure.
