The Ministry of Health signed an agreement with Chapa Financial Technology to implement the Tennette app application, and training was provided to registered pharmacy owners and professionals at the Arada Sub-City Food and Drug Branch Office on the use of the Chapa financial payment system, which serves as a payment system bridge.
During the training, Arada Food and Drug Branch Office Manager Ato Solomon Ge/her explained that the Tennette app application aims to establish a modern health system and that the application has been improving over time. He explained that the Tennette app indicates where patients should get their medicines in terms of its benefits, and that it helps pharmacies provide fast and quality service. The Ministry of Health has explained that pharmaceutical institutions need to provide streamlined services by properly utilizing the payment system in accordance with the agreement with Chapa Financial Technology. In addition, Chapa Financial Technology experts provided detailed training to pharmacies on how and in what manner they should use the Chapa payment system and use various payment options.
