 Addis Ketema Food and Medicine Branch Office, in collaboration with the Peace and Security Office and the Regulation Enforcement Office, held a joint discussion aimed at preventing illegal activities and health risks in the vicinity of schools.

Key Points Discussed:
• Framework for Cooperation: An agreement was reached to establish a coordinated operational approach among the institutions, based on a 90-day action plan.

• Areas of Focus: Regulating food products sold near schools that are exposed to the sun and pose health risks; preventing illegal trade; and curbing issues related to narcotics.

• Community and Security Involvement: Directives were issued for members of the "Peace Army" (community peace volunteers) and private security guards in each block to monitor suspicious activities and report them.

• Leadership of the Forum: The discussion was led by Sr. Selam Nuri, Head of the Addis Ketema Food and Medicine Branch Office, and Dr. Tibebu Dejene, Head of the Peace and Security Office.
