The leadership and staff of the Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority from the center to the branches, under the motto "Renew through Planting", left their national footprint by planting various indigenous seedlings at Kilinto Addis Ababa Science and Technology University on July 22, 2017.
The General Manager of the Authority, Mrs. Melu Imebet Tadesse, stated that the Authority has been awarded the Green Certificate for the various activities it has carried out in protecting the health of the community.
She pointed out that 85% of the 20,000 seedlings planted last year were approved and that today, more than 2,500 seedlings have been planted by coordinating with the leadership and experts from the center to the district cluster.
Finally, the Manager of the Authority, Mrs. Mulu Imebet Tadesse, thanked the leadership and staff of the sector for the work they are doing in protecting the health of the community and conveyed a message that more efforts are needed to take care of the planted seedlings.
