The Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority has started providing services with a revised service fee rate starting from Pagume 2, based on the revised service fee rate approved by the Mayor’s Office under No. AAK/03/11/22.
The revision was made taking into account the current operating costs of the services, the process and complexity of the services, and the new services that have been added over time. The revised fee rate was implemented starting from Pagume 2, 2018 A.D. and the service was started.
The revision includes new fee rates for various health institutions, licensing and renewal of health professionals, food and health-related laboratory tests, and other services.
